Today, the ball is just shy of 30,000 layers of paint, weighs more than 11,000 pounds, and has a circumference exceeding 18 feet . Its size and weight necessitated the construction of a special "Ball House" equipped with an industrial-strength steel beam to support its increasing mass.

One of the most enchanting aspects of the World’s Largest Ball of Paint is its interactive nature. Visitors are invited to add their own layer of paint to the ball, choosing from a selection of colors provided on-site. After painting, each participant receives a certificate commemorating their contribution, allowing them to claim a small piece of this monumental artwork and sign the wall.
